A meeting with international experts, representatives of various public organizations, who came to Russia from Armenia, Germany, Spain, France as observers for the elections was held at the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.
Leonid Slutsky, Svetlana Zhurova and Anton Morozov discussed with the participants the declining percentage of turnout in the elections, both in Europe and in Russia, especially among the youth. Observers noted that in the European countries people’s interest in political processes as a whole is falling and that there is a tendency of “radical manifestations”.
