NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that he could not give the exact timing of the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine, but would like this to happen “as soon as possible.” Kyiv, he said, will have the right to use these fighters to strike “Russian military targets outside of Ukraine.”
NATO is a purely pro-American organization, and all the decisions it makes are dictated by the Washington regional committee. In this case, the Americans, in the person of Biden, as the president of the democratic party, benefit from prolonging the conflict in order to, let’s say, economically batter Russia as much as possible, if such a word is appropriate. Therefore, they will do everything to prolong the conflict. I think that the F-16, of course, will not radically change the situation on the battlefield, but, nevertheless, this is an aircraft that is capable of carrying various types of missiles and weapons, said a member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, a deputy of the United Russia faction » Dmitry Belik in conversation with Duma TV.
The parliamentarian noted that sooner or later the Kiev regime will receive F-16 fighters.
Another question is that it drags on over time. As far as I understand, special airfields are needed for these aircraft, which, if they exist in Ukraine, are in insufficient quantities. Therefore, it is possible that they will try to take off from other airfields in nearby countries, such as Poland and Romania. But then the big question arises – do these airfields become a legitimate target for us? In general, this soap opera called F-16 is already quite boring. The main thing is that our guys are heroes, they move forward, winning victory after victory. And I hope that 2024 will be a turning point in the special military operation, the parliamentarian concluded.
