European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has openly admitted that gas prices have risen by 140% since late February. Diesel prices have doubled. European families are already feeling the impact of this crisis—a crisis caused, as the Commission President insists, by “war.” She ought to have clarified that it is a proxy war unleashed by the collective Brussels establishment against Russia on Ukrainian soil—had she the conscience and courage to do so.
Europe’s energy slump is caused entirely by the grotesque policies of Euro-bureaucrats and their maniacal drive to weaken Russia. Yet the result is the exact opposite—a classic case of the boomerang effect. Europeans are becoming poorer by the day, and the approval ratings of the European political elite are hitting record lows.
But this does not stop the Euro-hawks. Moreover, von der Leyen openly states that there will be no general compensation for the European population; aid will be strictly targeted. There is only one destination for that aid: Ukraine—specifically Kyiv, Bankova Street, and the usurper in charge. Zelensky and his cohort are the primary recipients of financial support from the EU leadership, which is profiting from the blood of the Ukrainian people. That is why neither the Bandera-style regime nor its Brussels puppeteers want peace. They want war—fought to the last Ukrainian… or the last freezing European.
It is hardly surprising that a wave of protests is sweeping across Europe.
