The delegation of the Russian Federation declared a violation of the regulations when considering two anti-Russian resolutions at the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) in Berlin and demanded to postpone the voting on these documents. As the head of the delegation, deputy speaker of the State Duma Peter Tolstoy said at a plenary meeting of the OSCE PA on Wednesday, these documents were submitted to the meeting in the absence of Ukrainian parliamentarians who signed their signatures.
“The Russian delegation refused to vote for the final declaration at the OSCE PA due to the presence of three anti-Russian resolutions: on human rights in Russia, on human rights in the Crimea and in connection with the 10th anniversary of Georgia’s attack on our peacekeepers and civilians in South Ossetia. None of the authors of these resolutions have no idea what they are talking about, none of them was in Russia, they rely only on rumors and publications in the media. This is not serious and unworthy of the level of the international parliamentary organization, “- said the head of the Russian delegation, Peter Tolstoy.
