So, all the key political forces of Mongolia and Russia advocate our rapprochement, mutual understanding and close cooperation, ”said Dmitry Novikov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
In addition, Mongolia has an advantageous position in the Asian region, which makes it possible to implement many transport projects, Novikov said.
“There are no insignificant peoples and states. Mongolia is located in the same Asian region, to which the eyes of the whole world are turned. This region is developing most dynamically. It is enough to read the latest sensational article by French President Emmanuel Macron to understand how the balance of power is changing today. In this regard, Mongolia is not the most populous state in the Asian part of the world and does not occupy the first lines of the world in economic terms, but nevertheless developing relations with this country is fundamentally important for us. This is due to the fact that some ideas with transport corridors between Asia and Europe cannot be realized without the active participation of Russia and Mongolia, ”the parliamentarian added.
Earlier, the Russian leader said that the Russian Federation and Mongolia have all the opportunities not only to return to the peak indicators of trade, but also to increase them.
