Sergey Zheleznyak considers voting in the parliament of Montenegro an act of aggression against the entire Christian world

Serbia is “not happy” with the law on religious freedom, which the Montenegrin government introduced for discussion in parliament, but not Belgrade decides on this issue. This was stated by President of Serbia Alexander Vucic on December 23.

According to Vučić, Serbia lost the right to influence the decisions of Montenegro a long time ago, in 2006, when “due to the intransigence of the authorities in Belgrade, an agreement was not reached with Podgorica”. Montenegro held a referendum on secession from a joint state with Serbia, and then proclaimed independence, Vucic reminded viewers of O2 television channel.

Vučić described Serbian-Montenegrin relations as complex.

“Our position is difficult, no matter what we say, everything can be described as interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state,” he said.
The President of Serbia also reported that he discussed the law on religious freedom with the President of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic. “Djukanovic, for his part, outlined certain arguments, I set out my position to him. Let’s see what will happen, ”added Vučić.
